I have a neighbor who insists upon using a floodlight that shines directly into my home. It lights up my backyard like daylight. I have asked him nicely three times to remove it and replace it with solar lights or find another alternative but have beenmet with resistance. I am hoping there is a law to regulate this.
There is no ordinance in town yet. The zoning officer is aware of the situation. If there is a PA law regarding it, I should be able to hold him to that. BTW- I also gave him a gift card to Lowes and some flashlights to make it easier for him to remedy. I figure my next steps would be legal action or a fence.

I think I can find a nature-friendly product to provide light to my garden during the night. Something that could get charged during the day using solar energy. Any ideas?

I know how to wire the LEDs, want to find a way to wire a timer between the PIR and LEDs for outside security lighting (rural Hawaii, ice-heads like zombies creeping around all night).

We’re having to do a chemistry project over an element, and since me and my partner are doing krypton we thought it would be cool to hook up white LED lights to spell out Krypton for our title. Only problem is, we have no clue how to do it. Any tips or tricks? We figured foam board would be easiest to use since it’s rigid, but other than that we’re clueless. Thanks for the help!

so i want to have a small indoor herb garden and theres a place in my house that looks like it would be perfect and theres a place for a lightbulb above it….do they make a regular looking light bulb that is like sunlight for plants…i thought i heard of that before but idk. btw the light bulb would be about 2 1/2 feet away from the herbs. Is that ok? and if they make something like this about how much does it cost? Thanks a lot!

Has anyone spray painted a CFL (Compact Fluorescent light bulb) the flood light style. These generate little heat and was wondering if anyone has done this with success?

Looking to get a color which isnt the basic red,green or blue.

I want to use a standard outdoor post light but change the socket and wires so that I can connect it to my low voltage circuit and use a 10-25 w low voltage bulb. BTW, I’m replacing a fixture that is too old and decrepit to fix. It used a double pin bayonet type bulb.
