72 hour notice of entry from landlord?
I just received a 72 hour notice from my landlord that they will be coming into my apartment to change the light bulbs to energy efficient light bulbs. The notice states that it is mandatory and does not give an option to opt out in any way. Are they within their legal right by doing this?

In our area they only have to give 24 hours notice.

Yes. That’s a perfectly reasonable request by the landlord. Why are you so worried? Have you got the place wired up with UV-lamps and working as a cannabis factory??!! lol

Yes they are with in their rights. In most areas all the notice that is required is 24 hours written notice. Since your landlord has given you 72 hours he has been very generous. Consider yourself lucky.

Of course they are within their rights. It’s their property, not yours. They are providing more than adequate notice of their intent.

Read your lease. Most leases would allow it.
