		<description>Generally LEDs are not bright enough for live plants. You can get LED arrays that are bright enough for a small tank, but they are expensive.

For a fish only tank the lights are not as important, you only need them to see the fish better.

		<description>any light will do for a aquarium but if u want live plants u have to get a special plant bulb. You can get this at an aqiarum or u can use a Regular Plant Bulb at homedepot. But if ur trying to do live plants you Must have a bulb specified for growing plants</description>

		<description>im not fully into the led lights yet but if you can can the right amount of light in there ive heard of people use led for high light plants and are going strong so they do work. just not sure about the rates and formulas to  determined how many lights and how bright  but they do work. iv personally seen them with black and blue for moon lighting  at night.i just run t5ho3x54 lights with co2  http://www.aquariacentral.com/forums/ go to this fish forum in the plant section,  i think thats where some guys were useing leds to grow plants ask them they could get you on the right track</description>
