Can I send a large envelope (larger than legal size) from my home mailbox?
I have a large padded envelope containing a DVD and a flood light filter and was wondering if I can just slap some stamps on it and mail it from my home mailbox, or do I have to mail large envelopes like this from a physical post office?

if its larger than the legal size then no. thats why its illigal. bright idea

Yes, ,just make sure you have the correct amount of postage on it.
absolutely but figuring out the proper postage can be a bit more difficult. I weight is obviously the first the second is the class (overnight, 2-3 priority. . . ) but the size is also figured into the price. But as for your first question definitely yes.
