Um..Wait until at least December
You still have you Autumn/Thanksgiving arrangement up.
Autumn is not over, and Thanksgiving hasn’t even come yet.
There’s your answer.

Day after Thanksgiving is our big decorating day. We don’t do the Black Friday shopping madness. We make it a ‘no spend’ day so as not to feed into the insanity of the day that many people seem to enjoy – we intentionally spend the day at home, make cookies, decorate for the holidays and enjoy time as a family.
But our small country town has already put up their light-pole decorations as of this past week, so I guess it’s not too early for some folks!

One of my neighbors already has their Christmas lights up. Personally, it doesn’t matter to me; I prefer to start around Thanksgiving.

To early. People rush the seasons in my opinion. We don’t decorate – just a wreath on the front and back door, and our little table top Christmas Tree. Christmas is too commercial in my opinion. Need to get back to the real meaning of Christmas.

The middle of December. It is bad enough having to deal with all the Christmas stuff in the shops in September.

i would say after Thanksgiving. my mom usually takes down all the Thanksgiving decorations the day after, and then gets out the Christmas tree for decorating. but my dad sometimes puts up the Christmas lights a little before Thanksgiving before it gets too cold!

No, in Adelaide Australia we had our annual Christmas pageant yesterday. It is traditional to start Christmas decorating after the pageant.

oh, yeah! Before Halloween is really tacky, before Thanksgiving is almost as bad.
Wait for December at least, especially if you have a real tree. You don’t want it to dry out before Christmas.
