How do I fix my light switch?
I had a flood coming through my ceiling. Now the light switch on the wall that got wet (but has dried out) doesn’t work. I replaced the switch and the socket, but it still doesn’t work. What more do I need to check? What could be wrong?

I assume you checked the breaker at the panel box. Call an electrician.

It could be a lose wire, bad connection. You shold have an electrician look at it. They have the proper tolls and equipment to find the problem and fix it. You should call them soon because a small problem can become large if connection is shorting out or overheating. It couls lead to a fire.

Make sure you’re getting power to the circuit.. test for voltage. Could be the breaker pernamently shot.. turn it off then back on to make sure it is reset properly.

If you can’t trace the problem, you are in way over your head. Go open a diet Pepsi and call Daddy.

Check the phone book for an electrician.
