Malibu Low Voltage Underwater Lights, 20Watt – 50Watt?!?
The Malibu Low Voltage Underwater Lights, has anyone ever tried them? They are expensive so i am wondering if they are worth it? Are they safe to use in a pond with fish?
I want to take the old 20Watt Halogen bulb that comes with it and change it to a 35Watt or 50Watt can i do that without any damage to the pond or the light fixture?
P.S. I have a Malibu 900W Transformer, that could be used with submerged fixtures.

Malibu is not the best brand, but popular for the budget minded. If the fixture says 20W, they mean just that. All fixtures have a safe rating. You can do down in wattage but not up, no matter what size transformer you have. Your transformer just controls the whole load. If the fixture is rated submersible your fish will be alright if they can live in warmer water, which your light will do.

Don’t increase the wattage of your lamp. It can damage your fixture.

I think 50Watt is better than 20Watt
