Why did Bill O'Reilly just insult the entire state of Massachusetts?

I was watching Fox news, which is a mistake to begin with, but I was really mad when they did a report on the O’Reilly factor about the town of Great Barrington, MA using energy efficient lighting for holiday lights, and they completely insulted the people of Massachusetts and the people of Great Barrington. The report criticized the town for using energy efficient holiday lights and generalized the entire town and the state of Massachusetts as being a place where people hate Christmas just because we use engery efficient lights and because we call them “holiday lights” instead of “Christmas lights” (who cares what they’re called? Either is acceptable). It was basically the same old "evil northern liberals" b/s.

Why is Bill O’Reilly such a mean person? Why does Fox news try to hard to insult fellow Americans just because they don’t submit to the right wing ideology of Fox news?
By the way, the report basically tried to incite violence against people who say "happy holidays". That’s wrong.

Does anyone know what type of peppers are growing in our garden?

We recently moved into a new home, and in the garden and in a few spots of the property, there are these tiny peppers growing on bushes that the homeowners planted, and we really don’t know what type of peppers they are. We know that they’re edible, but they’re extremely hot. They’re very tiny, so tiny that they remind me of Christmas lights because of their size and shape. They were a very light green, a sort of lime, and are gradually turning a fiery shade of orange.

We’ve had a few different answers from friends on what types of peppers they are. Someone said it was a Thai hot pepper, another said it was an Oriental hot pepper. I looked it up, and these peppers look like neither of the two. Could anyone help?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you
Also, they’re small with long curved shape, not a round shape. Thank you though! And also, I’m unable to find a picture of it right now, sorry! But your answers are all greatly appreciated. Thanks!

What traditions, habits and routines do you have for your Christmas/holiday decorations, lights and displays?

This is an "I’m just curious" type of question. Are there any traditions, routines or habits your normally follow in regards to your Christmas/holiday lights, decorations or other displays?

If you’re curious, these are our display-related traditions and routines:

Thanksgiving Night is traditionally the first night of the holiday season our outdoor lights are turned on. Then, the first full weekend of December is when our Christmas trees and other indoor lights are put up and turned on. New Years night is the final night of the holiday season our lights turn on, both indoors and outdoors. The next day, the timers that control them are unplugged.

Routinely, all of our Christmas lights, both indoors and out, turn on at exactly 5PM. Then, our indoor lights turn off at 10PM, and our outdoor lights normally turn off at midnight. However, it is tradition for our outdoor lights (But not our indoor lights) to be left on all night on Christmas eve, then turn off at 7AM Christmas morning.

Do you use indoor extension cords outside for Christmas lights?

We’ve been using brown 6-15 foot indoor extension cords for hooking up Christmas lights outside for years. We use them in places where we only need a short extension cord and not a long 25 or 50 foot outdoor extension cord. I’m just curious if other people use indoor extension cords outside?
We’ve been doing this for years and never had any problems.
