I have started a 14 by 16 ft. vegetable garden. Everything is looking good. I water daily with a hose. When we chose the location it got quite a bit of sun. But, the backyard trees have had some changes since then. Today was the first really sunny day(we are in mid-Michigan) and I noticed that the trees have filled in quite a bit and the garden gets light but not really full full sun. Is this gonna be a problem for my plants? I have the usual…tomatoes, onions, radishes, celery, broccoli, cauliflower, leeks, corn, kale, melons, and a few herbs. Any suggestions would be appreciated. My husband is thinking of cutting some of the trees back but they are very very tall and I don’t want him to hurt himself if the garden will be fine….thanks everyone for any suggestions!
