I want to block the light from two high ceiling windows but still able to see the outside. Does solar screens block out the light completely? How much does it usually cost for two solar blinds in high ceiling? Motorize blinds cost a fortune at Home depot at Lowes (they told me starting at 0 each with 8 installation fee). Any suggessions?
Where can you buy them? I checked with Home Depot and they don’t sell them. Walmart does, but is there anywhere else? I know they are a little dim, but for stairwells and hallways.. Also for night lights for the kiddiekins! Tonia Bacon

I remodeled my kitchen and ran wires for under counter lights? I had a gift card for Home Depot so I had to buy the lights there but all I could find was plug in/linkable lights. Some will link but 4 (1 in each cluster of cabinets) needs to be hardwired. Can I cut off the plug and hard wire them in? They are line voltage. None are low voltage.
Thanks for your input fellas. I am also interested in buying a MOTION SENSOR FLOOD LIGHTS (hard wired) for the back yard. Can anyone tell me what is the best quailty brand \ model to buy. I uses to have 2 motion sensor lights for the deck about 3 yrs ago. The first one mafunctioned due to flooding of the sensor and the other one just stoped working after a year. I have a stainless steel patio heater that the pilot will not stay on what component from the whole system makes the pilot stay on, I’ve already disassemble the whole thing and blew air throughout everything, and it turned on and then when I shut if off to restart it, the pilot light did not want to stay ON, it will light but it will not stay on.

I want to buy my Dad this tape measure that either Canadian Tire, Home Hareware, or Home Depot sells. No one seems to know where to find it. It’s got an LED light for accurate measurement. I remember it sells for .99. It’s a fairly new product, and i’ve only seen the commercial once.

1. replace a bathroom fan that included cutting a larger hole in the celing to make room for the new fan?
2. replace a celing fan? the old one has already been removed
