I have an LED light that consumes 0.040A of power, and wanted to know, in a worst case scenario, how long a car battery could power that.

Also, if I doubled it and it consumed 0.080A of power, would it be safe to say that I will have half the time, or is it somehow exponential?

Please explain in laymen terms.

i have a white led light. i tried to take apart a infared light from a remote but i had no luck there. i made the white led light into a componet that i can turn on and off. the main purpose is to be a mouse and control my computer. i can use a wii remote but i do not have bluetooth.

I got one of those laptops with a built-in webcam that always looks at me. But I always have it off. When someone hacks your computer and controls your webcam, does the LED light always come on? Or can hackers see your webcam without turning on its LED Light?

I recently received a blackberry 8703e at work and there is a blinking green LED light that continually blinks, how do I make it stop?
So can I remove the annoying green "coverage indicator?" but still keep the red blinks for notices of messages?

The green is kinda pointless, I mean if it works, I have coverage, right?

I have a Payne gas furnace. sometimes i only get cold air. If i pull the breaker it resets the control panel and works fine for awhile and then cold air. Im talking several days of heat then cold air. My codes on panel only go up to 8 blinks but the led light blinks 9 times. Any ideas what this may be?? I need help, ITs COLD

I had a 9V battery hooked up to a tiny yellow LED light and it went dead after two days of being on. There was a 250Ohm resister hooked up after the negative end of the battery (as per the instructions of the guy at Radio Shack.)

I really thought that setup would remain on for months on end with no problem. I thought a LED light takes up barely any electricity.

I found a really cool LED light for big rigs and want to use it on my harley. I need it to get brighter when breaks are on. And, breaks need to light up when used even when headlight is not on. Anyone got any ideas?

I want to learn how to wire things to other things.

I want to be able to wire a timer, and when it goes off, it turns on the LED light. How do I do that? I’ve Googled, searched for questions here, but no results. I’m looking for a best answer
