Malibu 200 watt Power Pack and LED Lights?

I have a Malibu 200watt Power Pack for an outdoor lighting system.. It says max wattage is 200 watts for all lights… if each light is 20watts.. I can use a max of 10 lights @ 20 watts = 200 watts.. Can I convert these to LED lights (M16 and M11 bulb size) that use 3 watts… does that mean I can hook up 65 lights on the power pack??? I also want the brightest LED available for the M11 and M16 size 2 prong bulbs.. any ideas? PLEASE ADVISE!! THANK YOU.

How do I figure out the energy cost to run a 300 watt, 12 volt Malibu Landscape transformer?

I use several of these Malibu 120v to 12v transformrs to light my yard. But I am having a difficult time figuring out what they are costing me. My transformers are for outdoor use, but I thought a while back people were putting in low voltage interior can lights because they were in the long run cheaper to run? I want to calculate what each Malibu costs me per month.

Malibu Low Voltage Underwater Lights, 20Watt – 50Watt?!?

The Malibu Low Voltage Underwater Lights, has anyone ever tried them? They are expensive so i am wondering if they are worth it? Are they safe to use in a pond with fish?

I want to take the old 20Watt Halogen bulb that comes with it and change it to a 35Watt or 50Watt can i do that without any damage to the pond or the light fixture?

P.S. I have a Malibu 900W Transformer, that could be used with submerged fixtures.

I’m thinking of buying Malibu solar lights for the outside. OSH is selling 10 lights for $40?

The description is:

Malibu 10 pack stainless steel LED solar light kit. Its bright white LED and no wiring required.

I’m thinking of putting these in the front and back yard, next to the plants where there’s a walkway. Is that good? Is that what its meant for?

In terms of light out-put,how do solar landscape lights compare to low voltage lights?

I have been looking at Malibu Solar landscape lights and notice that they post no information as to how much light they put out. They have some solar lights that have two LEDs and some with three LEDs. How do these compare with the standard 4 watt low voltage lights?

Which landscape malibu lighting system to choose?

I am debating between a low-voltage malibu light system and solar-powered for my backyard. I heard the solar-system is easy to install, cheap but the lights are very weak. My backyard is already pre-wired to use the low voltage system but I am not sure how much it would add to my electric bill. What’s your opinion?

Low voltage lighting transformer location?

I asked this question a week or so ago and think I may have confused folks. All of these power packs state for outdoor installation only. I called Malibu technical service and all she told me was that it was the UL code.

More simply put, does anyone know of a concern if I mount and plug in my transformer in my basement, and run the low voltage wiring through a small hole to the outside for my outdoor ground lighting?

Hope that’s clearer, thanks for any thoughts!

Question about low voltage landscape lighting?

I am going to be installing low voltage landscape lights. The fixture that was picked out is a Malibu 12 volt with an 11 watt bulb. The only problem is I’m not sure how much light the 11 watt bulb will put out. Is it okay to change it to a 18 watt bulb. I am not going to be using a Malibu transformer. I will be using a 900 watt multi tap transformer, so capacity is not an issue.
