I’m plannng a pumkin/sort of harvest-type birthday party and could really use some good ideas for outdoor lighting.We’re having a small bonfire and some jack-o-lanterns, but that just ain’t gonna cut it. Any ideas you could share?
I don’t have money for a fancy setup, nice outdoor lighting is hard to come by this time of year but I am doing something where the colors need to look as close to what they look like in person. What can I do?

I understand that many people believe that it is bad luck to shut down until after January 1st, but I always begin taking everything down on January 2nd. Even as I write this, I drive by neighborhoods with full outdoor lighting and a tree in the window. Is there something I don’t get?
I HAVE A CANNON SX100, AND IT HAS A ISO THAT CAN BE CHANGED FROM 80-2600, BUT WHAT IS THE ISO FOR? I MAINLY TAKE PICTURES IN OUTDOOR LIGHTING OR INDOOR WITH GOOD AMOUNT OF LIGHT COMING IN. SHOULD THE ISO BE SET TO LOW OR THE MAX, MEANING AT 80 OR 2600? THANKS.
LEDs have been around for a long time. The have always been inexpensive and never used a lot of energy to run. Why did it take this long for them to start using them in all these applications they are using them in now? Flashlights, outdoor lighting, christmas lighting, etc…. You use to only see them as like lights for your computers HD being read or other simple lighting situations on electronics.

I got a programmable switch for my outdoor lighting. It says it needs a neutral wire. Is this the same as a ground wire? It requires three wires total.

As the use of outdoor lighting increases, less people can see the details of the night sky. Ancient humans first looked to the night sky with wonder & worshiped varieties of sky gods. In fact, many modern religions still look "up" to God and expect to "rise" to Heaven. Could the increase of outdoor lighting and the dimming of the night sky have any effect on humanity’s perception of God & religion? Are we looking more toward the earth & ourselves as the night sky fades from sight, and therefore ignoring what inspired ancient humans’ search for God?
