Years agoI purchased one of those ornamental lighthouses at Walmart. The top of the light house, which is the solar light is rusted and no longer working. Does anyone know where I could purchase one of those lights. The rest of the lighthouse is in great shape.
I want to buy a set at walmart for a small garden but the garden has a spray sprinkler system and I want to know if they are water proof, by looking at the design the bulb is but im not sure about the actual solar panel thanks
Where can you buy them? I checked with Home Depot and they don’t sell them. Walmart does, but is there anywhere else? I know they are a little dim, but for stairwells and hallways.. Also for night lights for the kiddiekins! Tonia Bacon
Hi, i bought an 8 pack ffrom walmart yesterday for . They look very cool and are bright enough, the walmart reviews are not that great, most some say they did not last long…
does anyone have them and how well have they lasted?…do othey last atleast a year like they are meant to be
do they make cfl bulbs that I could place in my recessed lighting in my living room? right now it looks like the bulbs in them are simliar to a flood light bulb, it probably is not, but thats what they look like. Also these lights have dimmers on them, I figure i’d have to find a light that is ok with dimming
I also have 6 bulbs in my bathroom vanity that i would like to replace as well, i believe the sockets on those are smaller than the standard cfl bulb.

how much were the cfl for your recessed lighting at walmart?
my vanity lights are not as big as an orange, they are a bit smaller..

Okay – I read all the other threads like this, but I still want to make sure what I was told is correct.
My solar lights use Ni-Cad rechargeable batteries, AA size.
I just left Walmart with a pack of rechargeable batteries – the guy there said I can use these, and that they are the same thing as the ones my lights came with.
Can someone assure me that it’s okay to use these batteries instead of the nickel-cadmium batteries that came with my lights?
I was at walmart this morning and noticed a guy in a white chevy tahoe driving around the parking lot. He drove past my car and I noticed he had a video camera mounted in the windshield, like on a bracket. He then parked in the next row, almost directly behind my car and I went in to the store. When I came out 10 minutes later, he was gone.
I then proceeded to drive down the road to go home and I saw another white vehicle, a chevy astro van with the same type of setup. This second vehicle had a weird camera, almost like an outdoor surveillance camera mounted in the window, while the chevy tahoe just had a regular camcorder.
What the hell were they doing?
Also, the tahoe looked like it had hidden lights (like cop lights) in the grill of the car, and he had those silver spotlights on either side of the car– like cops have.
I can’t figure it out, I’m sure it was just a coincidence, but it creeped me out! Maybe they were private eyes?
I am looking at this set: Westinghouse Solar Utopia High-Output Spot Light Set, 2-Piece at Walmart (I know, evil me). But they are for two vs for normal ones. I am really hoping these are totally worth the money because I will be using them to illuminate a flag pole (I am a stickler about flag lighting out of respect for those that deserve it). Is the difference noticeable? Do they stay lit for a long time? Would it do a great job of illuminating a 10 ft tall pole with a flag on top? ( I am really hoping that these work well. I really don’t want to run wire to put in hard wired lights because the flagpole is a LONG way from the nearest electrical lines. It would be a MAJOR pain to get electrical power there. )Thanks in advance!
I bought 6 solar lights today at Walmart, and I put them out… I think they got at least 6 hours of sunlight. Then now at night time only 2 are lit. Why aren’t the other ones lighting up?
