Which Recessed Lighting is good for kitchen?
I am remodeling my 8 x 8 kitchen. I would like to put 5 recessed lighting. However I don’t know which one will give me a good light at the kitchen. I live in second floor and have access to attic so I can install Non IC or iC model but my question is for low voltage recessed lighting. How bright is the low voltage lighting system? Are they good for kitchen? Considering that my plan is to put two of them above the sink, one above stove and two opposite of sink? Sorry for long question. I need to find it asap. Please answer it with details.

Use 6" remodel housing cans. If you can trace and cut the template accurately, there are no drywall repairs. If you select a trim that allows the bulb to be flush with the trim you will get a little more light from the fixture. The remodel cans are about $8, and you can get trim rings that have about 3/8" clearance from the bulb all the way around (that allow the bulb to project down lower). They are $5. There are trim rings with the baffle (recess cone shape) require the bulbs to be slightly higher. Whichever you prefer, either will work in a kitchen that small. Hope that helps
